“The Bikini Shop” is a short dramatic film shot on 16mm color film about a girl named Artemis trying to figure out her life. It begins with a traumatic memory of a childhood swimming lesson where she almost drowns and flashes forward to present time where she finds herself in an abusive relationship. After her boyfriend breaking up with her and kicking her out she transforms herself from the victim mentality and continues to struggle to find herself by drinking gin smoking cigarettes and watching her childhood fears. The end is ambiguous and leaves the viewers wondering what will happen next!!
